Maker Spirit

Self-created (English: Maker, also translated as "Creator"), it refers to a group of people who love technology and are

keen on practice. They share technology and exchange ideas.
The maker space combines the external energy of different self-creaters to inspire each person's creativity.

Self-created culture is a subculture and a variant culture that is produced in popular culture. Subculture is often rooted in people who have a unique interest and have a strong belief.
Self-creaters are such a group of people - they love technology, are keen to practice themselves, and firmly believe that

they are well-fed. It does not agree with casual consumption, they are willing to reuse the existing resources.

The interests of self-creaters are mainly focused on engineering-oriented topics such as electronics, machinery, robotics,

3D printing, etc., as well as the skilled use of related tools, such as CNC, laser cutting machines, etc.
It also includes traditional metalworking, woodworking and artistic creations such as casting and handicrafts. They are good at discovering new technologies, encouraging innovation and prototyping. They not only have ideas, but also shaped works.
It is a loyal practitioner of "integration of knowing and doing". They focus on learning new things in practice and using them creatively.

Self-creaters share their research findings or works with others while showing as much technical detail as possible. They

listened to suggestions in the communication to get inspiration.
Integrating ideas from different fields of knowledge is their strength, so there are many cross-border collaborations in the

usual self-created works, many of which are in the fields of art, engineering, electronics and so on.
They are keen on pursuing the origin of things and have a strong interest in natural sciences such as physics, chemistry, and astronomy. They are willing to explore the principle of truth, and "disassembly" is also one of the sources of fun.

The self-created community maintains a moderate degree of openness, allowing people from all fields to find opportunities while ensuring the normal functioning of the community itself. They do not reject any commercialization possibilities,
Even some of them are good at it. But it is also important that the community must remain neutral in order to avoid short-sighted behavior that drags the entire community into the shackles of interest.

From zero to Maker (Zero to maker):
Every Maker has a different beginning. But they all have one thing in common - a simple idea from the heart "I want to do this myself!"
This simple idea drives a person to want to understand this "what you want to do", to learn how to get materials, and to know how to make it.
In the end, I will be able to learn the necessary knowledge and skills spontaneously, and find ways to get all the elements of the thing (production method, production materials, etc.),
This is the process of a "Zero to maker."

Maker and Maker (Maker to maker):
When a Maker starts to connect with others, including sharing works, passing on experience or knowledge... and so on, it even becomes a force in the community.
Make a variety of contributions to the community, whether it's technical effort, pure communication or sharing ideas and ideas. Finally, by means of communication sharing or technical confusing,
I want to bring others into the "Maker to maker" stage.

Maker to market:
Because of the emergence of self-created spaces and digital communities, knowledge flows faster and can be applied, and many inventions and creations are created by the contributions of many self-creaters (groups).
Some inventions and creations will attract the attention of many people, some of which will even have potential in the

market. Even if only a few makers will further expand into the business field, its impact on society can be large.

Maker advocate:
There is a variety of contributing factors behind each type of maker. For example, educational units promote more DIY courses and provide help (tools) for production.
This will drive more people from zero to Maker. Another example: the self-created space and the Maker community allow more people to progress to the Maker to maker stage.
